Walking in the Woods

Summer Supporter Special

Support us this summer and we'll help you explore the outdoors

Summer is in full swing and we hope you’re enjoying hikes to that secret (or not so secret) waterfall, strolling through parks, and finding the opportunity to dip your toes in the lake. We strive to conserve these natural resources which have proven to be an indispensable respite from the anxieties surrounding us today. The Foundation is working to restore and conserve the natural habitat that both people and wildlife need to thrive.

And this summer, we have a fun offer for you who can help us accomplish that!

take your pick!

Now through September 30, with a donation of $100 or more, you can choose to receive a signed copy of Curious Gorge (or) A Walk in the Woods. We hope either of these books will inspire people of all ages to explore the beauty of nature, whether it's observing an insect in your backyard or a taking in a view of the Gorge from Dog Mountain.
