A walk along the Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge

I've enjoyed walking along the Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge by starting and stopping from different points on the trail, but find the birdsong at its loudest and most joyous right near the Springwater Corridor (pictured is a railroad overpass not far from Oaks Amusement Park to enter from). It is amazing to hear the sounds of so many different birds completely unfazed by the mass of joggers and cyclists speeding by...

I take a somewhat unwilling partner along and pacify him with the promise of taking lots of pictures with his camera. It is not a problem for him to keep his pajamas on for the walk either (kids reign supreme on comfort).
