    Once commonly found across the western United States and several western Canadian provinces, the greater sage grouse today can only be found in 11 states and two provinces, and in much smaller populations.     Activity: Hiking Munra Point Location: Columbia Gorge Difficulty Level: Difficult I’ve always had a thing for heights. When I heard about Munra points featuring narrow paths, high elevation gains, and a beautiful view, I had to see it for myself. Most excellent. Having good company is also a plus when crawling up this hike. Activity: Hiking Smith Rock Location: Bend, OR Difficulty Level: Difficult Again, I enjoy standing at the very edge of cliffs that are also quite high up
