MAKING WAVES

Join Oregon Wildlife Foundation for our 2018 Dinner & Auction, June 2nd at the Multnomah Athletic Club.

We will begin the evening with a Silent Auction and Cocktail Hour, where guests can socialize and bid on items like luxurious and local Pendleton blankets; Timbers, Blazers, and Ducks game tickets; fishing excursions; wine + beer packages and so much more!

The fun keeps rolling as the Live Auction commences during dinner and dessert; with items to bid on, like out of town adventures, exclusive hunting and other sport getaways, and private dining experiences from some of the city's best restaurants!

-
Please be aware that there will be a Timbers game on the afternoon of June 2nd. This shouldn't interfere with road access, but please note there might be some congestion.
-
Parking is provided for guests in the Multnomah Athletic Club's garage and lot. A map showing where to find these areas will be included in an event email and sent to guests prior to the event date.
-
Public transportation is encouraged and easily within walking distance to the venue. We also encourage carpooling.
-
Starlight Run participants are scheduled to pick up materials at 6pm at Lincoln High School, which is across the street from the Multnomah Athletic Club. Again, we do not anticipate this affecting our event, but we do want guests to be aware and cautious of the potential car congestion.

Here are some helpful maps if you wish to plan ahead.

This year's event benefits one of the Foundation's newest and most anticipated projects, the Gilchrist Wildlife Underpass, a project dedicated to reducing wildlife/car collisions on Highway 97.
SPECIAL APPEAL
GILCHRIST UNDERPASS
PROJECT
In central Oregon, US Highway 97 cuts across a migration corridor that’s been used by mule deer and elk for centuries. Each year mule deer migrate between their winter range in the desert and their summer home high in the Cascades. This annual trek leads many mule deer to cross Highway 97, resulting in high numbers of collisions with vehicles; further imperiling an already declining population and posing a serious safety risk to the traveling public.
The goal of this underpass project is to reduce the number of wildlife-vehicle collisions along key portions of Highway 97, by giving wildlife access to a safe passage structure. The Gilchrist underpass is part of a larger ODOT project adding passing lanes to US 97 north of the town of Gilchrist.

Multnomah Athletic Club Executive Chef, Philippe Boulot is a James Beard award-winning taste bud pioneer, working only with fresh in-season ingredients. His dishes never disappoint, and we are thrilled to be able to serve his mouth watering meals at our event.
